Small-scale OrganoCat processing to screen rapeseed straw for efficient lignocellulose fractionation

چکیده
Agricultural residues such as rapeseed straw can be a valuable source of cellulose, sugars, and aromatic molecules like lignin. Understanding its composition is crucial in order to develop suitable processing technology for the production biofuel or biochemicals from straw. Here, we developed small-scale OrganoCat system screen multiple technical conditions different samples at higher throughput utilize this analyze set 14 genetically Brassica lines on their processability. Correlation analysis was performed investigate effects cell wall polymer features biomass disintegration. At comparably mild reaction conditions, differences recalcitrance towards fractionation within were especially associated with parameters pectic polysaccharide content, acetylation, hemicellulose composition. Regenerated Lignocellulose Beads Prepared with Wheat Straw
The conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into fine chemicals and polymers has been gaining attention recently. Regenerated lignocellulose beads (RLBs) were prepared by an emulsification/precipitation technique, using wheat straw as a raw material and [Bmim]Cl as a solvent. The morphology and properties of the obtained beads were characterized. The RLBs were perfectly spherical, with a porous m...
متن کاملEfficient sugar release by the cellulose solvent-based lignocellulose fractionation technology and enzymatic cellulose hydrolysis.
Efficient liberation of fermentable soluble sugars from lignocellulosic biomass waste not only decreases solid waste handling but also produces value-added biofuels and biobased products. Industrial hemp, a special economic crop, is cultivated for its high-quality fibers and high-value seed oil, but its hollow stalk cords (hurds) are a cellulosic waste. The cellulose-solvent-based lignocellulos...
متن کاملElectricity generation from rapeseed straw hydrolysates using microbial fuel cells.
Rapeseed straw is an attractive fuel material for microbial fuel cells (MFCs) due to its high content of carbohydrates (more than 60% carbohydrates). This study has demonstrated that reducing sugars can be efficiently extracted from raw rapeseed straw by combination of hydrothermal pretreatment and enzymatic hydrolysis followed by utilization as a fuel in two-chamber MFCs for electrical power g...
متن کاملfor Small - Screen Devices
Despite the proliferation of increasingly smaller Internet-enabled devices, their small form factors continue to constrain their usage. In trying to browse the Web on a phone, handheld computer, or personal digital assistant, you spend most of the session scrolling through the screen to find the content of interest. Current approaches to solving this problem either introduce new formats and mec...
متن کاملLarge scale zebrafish-based in vivo small molecule screen.
Given their small embryo size, rapid development, transparency, fecundity, and numerous molecular, morphological and physiological similarities to mammals, zebrafish has emerged as a powerful in vivo platform for phenotype-based drug screens and chemical genetic analysis. Here, we demonstrate a simple, practical method for large-scale screening of small molecules using zebrafish embryos.
